How long would it take to walk from BWV to Dolphin?

We need to rent a car for a day and I was wondering if it would be faster to walk to Dolphin to the rental car place instead of waiting for a shuttle to take us to the rental car place.

Its about a 10 minute walk. This is our usual choice when renting onsite. In the past, it is also a little cheaper (about $2.50 less) to rent from the Dolphin instead of the CCC. -- Suzanne

Yes, most definitely walk to the Dolphin. That's what we have done twice while staying at BWV....maybe about 5-10 minute walk depending on your speed. It's simply a stroll over the bridge and head into the dolphin and up the stairs (if I remember correctly) to find the Alamo/National desk. After you have signed the paperwork, a valet brings your rental to you at the Dolphin entrance and off you go. Really easy. However, the hours are shorter so be sure they are open when you want to rent.

We LOVE the walk around the Boardwalk, Swan, Dolpin and Beach Club. From the BWV to the Dolphin is probably 10-15 minutes, and downhill!

Absolutely book now. Don't wait until you get there. Otherwise you'll be paying premium prices. You should be able to request car seats or booster seats as well.
I rent from the Dolphin all the time. Easy walk from BW....end of the boardwalk area, turn left, out and off to the left, cross the bridge, go right and you're at the Dolphin....about 8 mins.

Or take the boat to DHS. It stops at the Swan/Dolphin.
