How long would it take to go to DTD from HS? Is it smart to do for lunch?

I was thinking of leaving HS in the middle of the day and heading to DTD for lunch at T-Rex. Will the buses take me there? how long would it take and do you think this is a wise decision?

There are no direct bus connections between the parks and DTD. You would either have to travel by taxi or take a bus to one of the resorts and then transfer to the DTD bus. You would then have to do that in reverse if you want to come back to one of the parks. IMO, I would do T-Rex either after you have completed a park for the day or on a down day. It could eat into some prime park time travelling to and fro just for lunch. If you are "gung ho" on eating there, by all means go for it and enjoy.

Getting from DHS to DTD by bus would probably take 30 min. to 1 hour. Getting back could be 1 hour to 90 minutes. Best route is to change buses at Pop, AoA, or CBR.

T-Rex is pretty close to midway between the 2 DTD bus stops. When arriving, I think it would be faster to get off the bus at the MktPlace and walk to T-Rex. When leaving, it would be definitely be faster to walk to the PI stop.

I would guestimate Taxi fare between DHS & PI at $15.
