Does anyone know how long US will continue to offer the 2 parks/2 days for $99 + children free? We are not going until Oct. and I really didn't want to buy my tickets now, but I also do not want to miss out on this deal. :confused3

How did you find this deal? Does anyone know if the pay for 2 days and get the 3rd day free is still going on?? We are going June 10th.

It's on the main universal site where you order tickets:
http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html

It is expected to be available for all of 2006. But things can change at anytime so no guarantees.

We are going to Flordia Dec 23 - Jan 3rd and are planning our Un/IoA days either the 29-30 or 30-31...I saw on the website that it says Tickets vailid until December 31, 2006...do you think they are valid Through the 31st (like you can use them still the 31st), they should be right?

Thanks...I also saw you can get them online but they are no longer sending out the tickets you have to pick them up when you get there...just in case the op hadn't seen that yet.

Don't worry about the loss of memory they say it comes with age. I am having a good day when I can remember what I ate for breakfast.

So even though you do not recall thanks for the info! Melissa

I had a question so I emailed Universal...here's some more info:

Also, this 2 day 2 park ticket with the 3 extra days and/or with the kids free ticket promotion has a December 31, 2006 expiration date. The last date you can use this ticket in December 2006 to get your 5 consecutive days is December 27, 2006. You cannot start the 5 consecutive days on December 31, 2006. If this is the case, you would only get 1 day of use on December 31, 2006 and end up forfeiting the remaining 4 days.

Exactly what I needed to know for sure...I figured it had to be including the 31st...but I guess you never know until you know... :teeth:

I appreciate you posting this info. Has anyone who is going late in the year already purchased their tickets? Just curious.

Thanks again

but did they tellyou in the email the last date they would be selling the promo 5 day pass............

when i called, i was told a date when it would be pulled off the online store.

i would post the date but have concerns on doing so. universal has been known to change plans without our prior knowledge that it is going to happen.

my ticket does not have an expiration date on it.
i assume it would be good for 07 if i chose to wait and use it then.
just a thought.

Would you feel comfortable sending me a pm with the date? I know online it does state an expiration of Dec 31, 2006 so I wouldn't think you would be able to use it in 07...but who knows.

Thanks

Here's more from their email:

All online specials or promotions may have specific expiration dates and/or restrictions for use and any special or promotion can end at anytime without notice.

Also, any ticket special or promotion may end at anytime without notice and may not be available for purchase at the theme parks' front gates or over the telephone with one of our Travel Counselors.

Again, be advised that any online ticket promotion or special may not be available when purchasing tickets over the telephone or directly at the theme park front gates.

So, no guarantee that the offer will be available on line, but they say the tickets will expire on Dec 31, 2006.

HTH!

Hi Guys,

We have three kids. Would you suggest buying three adult passes and getting three free kids passes? It would be the same price as getting two specials and one more kids pass, so I don't see why not. I have friends that live near Kissimmee, and I could give them the extra adult pass. I don't know anything about the kiosk pickup, but I wouldn't expect to need 3 Adults and 3 kids to show up to pick them up. What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

Mike

I read on the universal site that the pickup is like an automated machine? I could be wrong but I understood that you will get a code when you order the tickets online and then when you get there you will need this code and the credit card you used to make the purchase to retrieve the tickets from this machine.

Anyone know for sure if that is somewhat acurate?

Thanks!

when you go on your trip, take with you/or write down the confirmation number on your ticket sale. take your credit card that you used to purchase the tickets.

go to the kiosk to pick up your tickets.
you enter the confirmation number
you must also put in your cc that you used for the purchase.

you might have bought the tickets on line in february and going to universal in november.
all is valid, just take the conf # and cc to get your tickets from the kiosk

they look just like an ATM. follow macraven's guide and you'll have your tickets in less than a minute.
