How long to get into MK?

Our plane is scheduled to land at 2:50p.m, on a Saturday, Spring Break. If we take ME to Pop Century, and then Disney bus to Magic Kingdom, what time do you think we could be in MK?

We would spend minimal time in the room, just drop off carry-ons, use the restroom and go. We are a family of 5, but the kids are 14,16,18, so they won't slow us down much, unless they want to charge electronics or something crazy!

Just trying to decide if we will make it to our 6:30 dinner reservation, or if we even want to use a day of admission. I REALLY want to go to MK that first day, so I'm hoping it makes sense to do so!

Thanks!
Katy

I agree with the pp that I would plan on at least 3 hours. With that said, a 6:30 ADR would be cutting it too close for me as I wouldn't want to have to rush and possibly not make it and get charged a no show fee should a delay happen.

I have to agree... we don't plan ADR's on arrival day. Just don't want to waste the money on a no-show just because my plane is say, delayed an hour. Just my thought...

Thanks! I think I might cancel the ADR. I am not going to want to take time to eat! Thanks!

Don't forget your room may not be ready till 4:00 which is the check in time for Disney resort so you might have to leave your carry on bags with bell services. Especially since you will be there during a busy week. Plus there might be longer than normal lines at the DME because of the holiday.

I think you might be cutting it close with a 6:30 ADR. I'd suggest cancelling the ADR and just get counter service for the first night.
