How long will Disney Reservations be down?

This is longer than it's been in my experience. I called DVC and was told to try again later today.
 
I was just able to complete online checkin, so there are some parts of the reservation system that still work. Hopefully that means the maintenance is almost complete.

Those kinds of tasks weren't affected. I've been able to do other things, just not check rates or make changes on an existing reservation.
 
I'm wondering, and it's just a guess but could Disney perhaps be adding Fall discounts? Don't know if June is normally a time that Disney would do that and if it were a possibility, would it take this long? :confused3 I'm really hoping it's 2018 prices.
 

This is just ridiculous.
Imagine how much money they must be losing...although I suppose people will just book when it's available. Still...

That is what I am thinking..this is a long time to be down..I wonder if indeed they had some troubles.

Oh they must be having trouble. No company would have one of their main revenue sources be out of commission for two days on purpose!

I do not notice anything new to make our reservation experience any better either....in fact where it gives you a price and availability when you open to choose a room no availability exists.
 
The message was taken off the website, but it doesn't appear anything has changed. I'm on hold right now trying to make a reservation for 2018 and they are telling me there's no availability.

EDIT: And he's back. Still having issues and can't take reservations on the phone or online. Not sure why the alert disappeared from their website.

It seems fine online but you won't be able to book 2018 on there until later this month. Don't know what CM are seeing?
