Does anyone know the official dates for the celebrations? We are not going until next year, and wondered, if like previous 'special years' disney have had, if it'll run for 18 months?

TIA x

I moved this thread over to our main Disneyland forum.

As of now, there is no hard end date for the Diamond Celebration. The new nighttime shows are supposed to run for the rest of this year (even during the holidays). We can only assume that they will continue on a more limited schedule in the first part of 2016, but we don't know if they will end before Summer of 2016 or continue on indefinitely.

The Diamond Days sweepstakes is ending on September 11th.

While we were there for the 24-hour day we were talking with a CM about the fireworks and she was so excited about them! During the conversation she mentioned how her mom said that she would have 18 months to see them when she was working. So.....

The only way Paint The Night wouldn't be a permanent fixture would be if they were to move it to WDW after the 60th celebration. If that happened, they could bring MSEP back temporarily. But I'd bet good money that PTN stays at Disneyland for good. The parade is simply awesome, and the crowds on Friday night loved it. The fireworks will probably stay the same until they go into some sort of rotation, either with seasonal fireworks or with Magical (if they bring that back next year). Remember...Dreams Come True lasted for close to 10 years, although it was rotated with Magical and other shows.
