How long to wait after submitting offer?

Submitted an offer this morning and I got a canned email response back. Been about 3 hours but no phone calls or anything. I'm looking at several listings and want to pull the trigger on something today. Previously when I made offers there was pretty much zero delay in getting some sort of response (not just an automated email). Did I just have an atypical experience on the previous contracts or is this more normal? Is there a set amount of time you think I should wait or can I just move on to the next reseller?

If you haven't received a response I would pick up the phone and call the company.

Just my 2 cents but, I would probably give it until tomorrow. The offer will need to be submitted to the owner and the broker may not be able to reach the owner right away to get response on the offer. My last one I heard back in about 2.5 hours and was surprised how quick I heard. My previous one I feel like was at least overnight before I heard, but I cannot find the email for exactly when I submitted.

It can take awhile to hear back from the owner, but I would want the broker to acknowledge the offer to ensure that they saw it.

I would definitely want the broker to reach out me me, my broker got confused on the contract and spoke to the wrong seller before confirming the contract and then I had to unwind the situation...

If there are multiple people interested in a contract, sometimes they don't get around to calling the people that they did not choose to move forward with.

Not sure if there were multiple offers or not. I offered what they were asking and said I'd pay closing and MFs (shrewd I know! This is why I'm not allowed to talk at car dealerships). I called and she said since I was offering asking price etc they could accept my offer without contacting the seller. Now I guess I'm waiting on some paperwork to show up for deposit but so far I haven't seen anything!

If you've spoken to them on the phone and they said that you're going to be able to buy the contract, then just sit back and wait for the paperwork to hit your email.

I'm on the way! Paperwork showed up about 630 PM last night!
That's 320 for AKV. I should probably start thinking about what resort to get next...
