How long to see Epcot WS?

Epcot's World Showcase was one of our favorite parts of WDW last trip, so I would like to spend a whole day there this time. Do you think it would be better to divide it into 2 half-days or just do the whole thing in one day with a short break in between? How do you experts usually handle WS? :)

Also, do those boats in the WS lagoon only go between WS and FW? Is it faster than walking?

Thanks! :p

I think either way would be fine. It depends on whether you'll get tired of seeing the countries for 7-10 hours. If so, do it in two days. Also, if you have young children they might get bored speding an entire day in WS.

As far as the boats, they only run between FW and WS. There are two separate boats stopping at different places. I believe one stops at Germany and one stops at Japan, but I'm not entirely sure. It's not necessarily faster than walking, especially if you have to wait for the boat. But it does give you a chance to sit.

Regarding amount of time to view WS....I'll let you know when I finish seeing it. So far, it's taken me ten years, and counting.

But our strategy on a normal trip, and this June as well: We normally spend a full day in EPCOT, getting in our FW visit as well as some preliminary work on the WS. Then, we count on at least a half day at WS, and we always make it the second day, usually going there mid-afternoon after MGM. Personally, I like to take WS at a leisurely pace, and find late afternoon and evening, when I'm getting tired of "ride-pounding," to be the best time to do this. Also, I think it's most beautiful at night. We've also come into a tradition of making WS our final stop, no matter what, on our last night.
