How long to get your Disney Rewards card?

I'm getting a bit worried - I requested our rewards card on 10/28. I just called and they said they mailed it on 10/29 and I should have it by now. We were out of town 11/1 through 11/8 and I went through every piece of mail (even the junk mail looking ones) and it wasn't in there.

They said they can void it and I would have to go pick up a card at the park, and call customer service for them to add the points. I really don't want to spend the first 1/2 hour of our morning doing this. Plus, my plan was to buy a gift card with it online to use that instead of the rewards card. We leave for the park in 2 1/2 weeks so there's not enough time to get the new one and turn around and get the gift card.

Did anyone have their rewards card take a really long time to arrive? Has anyone picked up their rewards card at customer service and had points added right then and there? It's a lot of points and I'm counting on it to help pay for our trip, so I really don't wany any disasters!
 
I think mine took a little longer than usual this last time...maybe two weeks.
 
I would call Chase customer service again and ask them to expedite you a replacement. Explain that you are leaving for vacation. Don't mention anything about the other customer service agent telling you that they could void and have you pick up a new one at the park. If they offer that as an option explain that you aren't comfortable doing that because if there is a problem you wouldn't have time to correct the situation. Plus you don't want to spend your valuable vacation time waiting in lines trying to resolve this.

I would also ask if it was sent signature required. Generally over a certain dollar value the rewards cards are shipped that way for security purposes. If it is signature required they should be able to track the package for you.

All my experience with Chase customer service has been excellent. They are always very accommodating.

The website does say 2-3 weeks. I know ours took about 10 business days in the mail.

We did this. Picked up the rewards card at DCA's guest services. They just give you a new rewards card in an envelope with instructions for adding the rewards dollars to it. You just call the toll-free number and add them. It was really easy.

BIL did this during our visit in October. Only took him about 10 minutes on a Sunday morning in October.
 
Is guest services inside or outside the park? I had hoped to pick up my card the evening before our first day ... I had thought they were outside.
 
It came today! Thank you for your advice - it good to know that it's not a hassle to deal with the onsite customer service.
 
I have always gotten mine within a week.

However, I ordered a card on 10/31, with an estimated arrival date of 11/9 & I have yet to receive it. If I don't get it by Monday I will have to give a call, so they can cancel it and reissue.
 
I'm in the same boat; I ordered mine on Oct 29, and was supposed to arrive by November 7. I called them on the 9th, and they said they'd "escalate" my request, but as of today I don't have my card.

I've got 19 days to go until Disneyland -- I hope it shows up before then. :)
 
I have gotten mine in the park at guest services. Took about 5 mnutes tops! They handed it to me and I called to add my points to it! I plan on doing this again next week because I seem to have lost my old card. ):
