You can take the Monorail directly to the resort. I would give it about 45 to 60 minutes depending on crowds...just to be safe. -Amanda

I like to take the water taxi. It stops at The Grand Floridian first. It takes about 15 minutes, but you do have to wait a few minutes for the boat. So, about a half hour should do it. If it was my reservation I would leave MK an hour before my reservation time.

You should allow a minimum of 30- 45 min for any Disney transportation. The ride via boat/monorail is less than 10 min but you may have to wait for the ride. Then you must walk from the back of the resort to it. The Poly is lovely to walk around if you are early & you can check in early too.

I agree around 45 minutes or so should be about right. Err on the side of arriving early, you can def. kill a few minutes enjoying the resort prior to checking in for your ADR.

Give yourself at least a half hour have to get to Monorail and take it 3 stops especially when busy... Boat might be quicker
