how long to allow for chef mickey dinner?

Ok need to pick some experiencedbrains here,

we have a ADR for CHef Mickeys for dinner at 5 on our arrival day... how long will the dinenr take roughly? We are two diz-nut adults

i ask cause we are hoping to catch the late show of fantasmic at MGM in their evening EMH

If i can remember rightly we were there for about 2 and a half hours, but as it is buffett I am sure it could be much quicker, we also had 2 children so waited for photos with the characters. Hope this helps a bit, but I am sure someone else will have better knowledge than myself.

Even w/ our DD (5) it took us about an hour. If your not looking for the photos you should be out of there in 45 min. I know during our last trip we didn't get a photo taken during one of our meals there and we were done in about an hour. But we have a little one. I'd say you would have enough time to eat and hop over to MGM. That's considering you aren't realllllly SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWW eaters!

we will probably want the photos but i think i planned it well.. 5pm chef mickeys so hopefully outa there by 8pm over to epcot on monorail, bus or walk to mgm, grab a wrist band (arrive hopefully by 9-9.30 ish) and then chill out until after the 1st fantasmic is finished and gone, go and stake out a spot then for the second show... as soon as the cleaners are through that is! LOL

If you have a 5pm ADR, you should be outta there by 7pm (at the latest!!!!).

It will be faster to get to MGM by the bus from the CR. You don't need to go through EPCOT unless you want to stop there. The buses are for everyone who has a Disney ticket, you don't have to be staying at a resort to use the transportation from it.
