How long to add on points at sold out resort?

So sorry I have not gotten back to this thread! I was in Disney last week (came back monday) and I have been sick since. This is my first visit to the Dis in a week and a half!

Here are my details:

waiting for 50 December BCV points since July 2004. I have called my guide twice about it, to make sure I am still on the list. I am beginning to think they will never come in........

All I can say is I'm VERY glad we added another contract before BWV sold out. I *think* we're on the waiting list for even more points; that is, I recall having a conversation with someone and asking them to put us on the waiting list, but nothing has ever come of it and it's been at least two years so I think there was a misunderstanding. I haven't followed through because we haven't been in a position to buy more lately anyway (two adoptions to pay for!).

I'm still waiting to hear about BCV rofr status. As soon as I know that I have them, I'll add myself to this list for more points. I just need a new DVC guide!! Anyone have stellar service from DVC guide, please. Mine is unresponsive. We don't work well together.

Our guide is Byron. He is a classic gentleman. Very responsive and willing to answer any questions.
