Not a member yet but have a contract in process How much does a 25-50 point add-on cost and how much are the closing costs? I'm trying to figure out if I should look for one through TSS or just call DVC (after I'm a member, of course )

There are no closing costs for add-ons from DVC.

The costs are:

AKV = $104 - $8 incentive = $96
SSR = $104 - $10 incentive = $94
BCV = $101
BWV = $98
VWL = $98
OKW = $96
HHI = $92

For 25-49 points it's cash (check, credit) you can't finance anything under 50 points. So anything 50 points or more and you can pay cash, check, credit, or finance.

I'll give it two more months and then I'll have to pay for a transfer. I have got to be close. The guide told me I was 7th or 8th down the list...but can that be true? So close yet so far away...ugh.

DVC Mike, or anyone else that's added on from Disney, do you know what the price increases for the add-ons have been over the years for the sold out resorts? Have the add-on prices increased at the same time and by the same increment as the points for the the resort currently selling?

Also, have you noticed if the Disney price increases for the add-ons at the sold out resorts resulted in corresponding price increases on the resale market?

Today, November 26th we went on a waitlist for 40 BCV points, March UY. It's been a tough decision, but we decided to buy 40 more AKV points and 40 more BCV points.

I hope it's not a long long wait for the BCV points! Paperwork for AKV will take about 4 days!

My experience (2 yrs. ago) has been that they came quicker than the larger "lump sum" I wanted.
