How long should we allow to get from WL to Chef Mickey's for breakfast?

The boat, maybe allow 30 minutes.

15 - 20 minutes is plenty of time. The small boats (WL/CR/FW) come every 10-15 minutes. The ride is less than 5 minutes.

So, if we allow 30 minutes from the time we left our villa to the time we needed to check in for breakfast, we should be fine - right?

30 minutes should be plenty of time, going either by boat or car. Also, in all my trips and PS's, Disney has never canceled my PS because of late arrival--that's my own experience, and I would bet that even 15 minute or so delay would be okay. (However, we are generally prompt--part of best Disney behavior, of course!)

30 minutes should be fine if you're taking the boat. Personally, I love the boat ride, and take it every chance I get! WL is my favorite resort.

We had 8:05 PS at Cinderella's Royal table. As I was checking in, another person came and checked in for their 8:30 PS. We were both seated at the same time (immediately). The moral of the story is that you will get seated even if you are early.

Great! Thanks so much. We also love the boat ride in the mornings, so I'm looking forward to it. (In fact the morning boat ride to the Magic Kingdom is probably my favorite thing about staying at the WL.)

Now, does anybody know what time the boats between the WL and Contemporary start running?
