I heard that I passed ROFR on Friday (4/2). But, I still have not received an e-mail from the Title company with the paperwork for us to sign:confused3..Is this normal? I thought from our previous purchase we heard we passed and received our paperwork almost simultaneously??? (but it's been a couple of years and the memory not as good as it used to be:rotfl:)
Anyone else with recent experience out there..Don't want to call if this is typical, but I would like to get this finalized and reservations made! THANKS!!!

What did your representative say for a time frame? Call or email your rep and ask. Since it was Easter weekend things could be delayed due to office closures/vacations.

We bought a AKV resale contract last fall, we received our closing document from the Title company four days after ROFR. Then it took two more weeks before we closed (had to wait for the seller to return their documents).

BTW, don't worry about calling the rep. That is what you are paying them for.

We passed ROFR on 4/2 and just received our closing papers yesterday afternoon. We were told it could take six days to get the closing papers. Your papers should be coming soon!

We also passed ROFR on 4/2 at SSR! Congrats! We got our paperwork on Monday, so I bet yours will come today.

We heard about ROFR on a Friday and didn't get paperwork until the next Thursday. Now they've had everything from us for a week and we waiting to close....

UGH NO paperwork again in the inbox!:headache: I know it can take up to 6 days but I was really hoping it would be here by now...OH WEll maybe tomorrow:rolleyes:

Woo Hoo!!!! We closed!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1: I guess I'll start calling tomorrow to see if we are in the system yet!

congratulations ercrbc!

My closing docs were sent pretty quickly I think within 2 days, but I noticed they went in my spam folder, since they came from the closing company. We went through TSS and their closing company and all involved were very helpful. I called several times and got a lot of info from the closing company!

ercrbc it took us 6 days to get points in the system but it was a holiday weekend. The points were incorrect and when I called dvc they said to call resale agent, they needed to correct the problem (I knew it was a dvc typo by the way it was posted on the account). After contacting TSS it was corrected within hours and it was a dvc typo!

We are going through TSS as well..I emailed the title company this morning, because now it has been a WEEK!! and I haven't gotten anything..I've been checking both inbox and spam folder and nothing!:headache:

Well apparently Disney is the hold up!! My agent at the title company says she has been waiting on a document from Disney..She has now called them and asked them to put a rush on it..And hopes to get it today.

A little frustrated, however, I still got a great deal compared to buying direct from Disney so I guess this wait is worth it!

It totally is! And if you think about it, closing is just the start of even more waits for all those trips to WDW the next 30+ years :goodvibes

It is worth it, and never hesitate to call, I worked with Brenda at the title company and she was great.

Good luck and before you know it you will be booking your ressie! My biggest problem is so many properties I have never stayed at so little time! lol

Don't feel too bad...on our last purchase, the title company didn't bother emailing the closing documents...they mailed them via U.S. mail :confused3...to the wrong address!!!! :sad2:
After waiting several days, I contacted both the title company and the realtor. If I had not, it would have been weeks before I received the documents.
The title company emailed the closing documents that afternoon. (Why didn't they do that in the first place?!?! :sad1:) I wired them the money. They had already received the sellers' signed closing documents. Within a week of receiving the emailed closing documents, the deal was done and 3 days later, we were in Disney's system making reservations.
I visited the Orange County Comptroller's Office online to see if the deed had been recorded and it was...with the wrong address!!! :headache:
It took a week but the title company finally got that fixed and then a day or two later, we received the original closing documents that were sent via snail mail!!! :crazy2:

Please feel free to email your associate at The Timeshare Store, Inc.® They might be able to give you a faster response than the closing company.

Thanks and, hopefully, the documents will be coming soon and the sellers will return them ASAP.
