How Long is Too Long? - Standby Lines

I'm thinking...maybe...you don't know what "socialism" means?

I certainly do but using it when discussing ones vacation is ridiculous. It is just an attempt to silence my views by trying to attach me to a word that has such a negative stigma attached to it in this country. Pretty low blow if you ask me.Why stop at yelling socialism in a crowded room. Why not call me a communist for my views that I want the majority of Disney visitors to have a great vacation.

We try to travel during slow seasons and have multiple days per park....so 20 mins max.

We typically go for 2-3 weeks and go in early Sept and sometimes just before Christmas. We don't normally do rope drop, but were heavy FP users. I'd always check online what the standby lines were and when FP return times were and plan my rides out based on that. I'd gladly jump in any ride that had only a 5-10 minute wait, but 20 minutes is the most I would ever wait for a ride. We also would typically do our favorite rides multiple times (Big Thunder, Safari, R&RC, Start Tours, and Pirates.

I expect a certain level of entertainment for my park admission and that has to come without standing in long lines otherwise I don't find it a good value for my money.

We haven't yet had a chance to try the FP+, but will this Aug/Sept. I'm hoping that the entertainment value is still there, but I am worried about only having 3 FPs and then having to do everything else standby!

We only go every few years- so for us- if we can come back to a ride and it works in the day, we will try and wait less then 25-30 minutes. However, if it is a ride we just need to get done, so we can be done with the park or we need to move on to a completely different area we will wait 45-60 minutes.

At 60+ minutes we decide to either skip it or come back later if we can,
