We plan on visiting the MK resorts one after another on our arrival day. Assuming we just miss the 'rail as we try to leave one of the resorts, how long before it (or another) picks us up? While I'm thinking of it, are any of these resorts in walking distance of each other?

Best I recall, you might wait as long as 10 minutes, but probably not much more. When we had to wait, it wasn't much - it just seemed that way while trying to corral the herd...

You can walk from TTC to the Poly (nice walk through the gardens), and from the Poly to the GF (along some beach path - which we didn't do personally).

The only other walking you can do is between the Contemporary and the MK itself.

Anything else is a "you can't get there from here." :)

There is no set interval between the trains... it really all depends on the driver, and how quickly the guests load into the train. (inevitably, when the train is running behind, and we're trying to get it out of the station, there's always that one group that has to walk alllllllllllll the way down to the end looking for a seat... and then alllllllllllllllll the way back up when they dont find one...)

It could range anywhere from 90 seconds to 8 minutes... however, 3-5 mins is the average wait time. It's not that bad. As for walking, there's a nice walking path from the Polynesian to the Grand Floridian that takes you by the Wedding Pavillion.
