How long is the process?

If you decide to buy SSR straight from Disney how long does the process usually take (no financing/pay upfront)?

Ie....When would you be able to start booking?

They will actually book something for you the same day you give your deposit. We did use the financing and it was about a week and half to complete everything.

We did the SSR tour at the end of June. Came home and thought about it for 2 days and then sent in a deposit. Sent the balance at end of July. Got tote bag two weeks ago and membership cards today. Got our membership number in a week (1st week in July) and actually booked our first trip home the following week. Smooth and easy. Good luck.
