How long is Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

I have reservations for September for the first time. What is it like and how long does it take?
 
I also would like to know what its' all about --- Food fun ??????? Is it like the Hoop Dee Doo ????? ;)
 
Can't really remember how long it was. 1 & 1/2 or 2 hours maybe??? These are some pics from Sept '10:

I would love to do this but $50 per adult seems steep. I don't understand why they can't price this like other character dinners.

It's considered a dinner show, not a typical character meal.
 
Love the pictures! Thanks for posting. It looks nice and the food looks good. :) How was the character interaction? I've heard it's very chaotic and crowded. What did you think?
 
We have been 4 times now and it is on the to do list for our next trip. My kids love the atmosphere, the rope show and dancing with the characters. DH and I love the all you can eat BBQ, the all you can drink lemonade, iced tea, beer and wine. Gratuity is also included in the price. The character interaction at the BBQ is not like a character meal. It has been chaotic at times but we have always had fun. :)
