How long have you known your partner/DW/DH - can you remember the date you first met?

I haven't known mine all that long, so I probably shouldn't even respond, lol!

We met in one of my favorite places, the pool! I thought that he must have somebody and probably just enjoys swimming with me, or just wants to be friends. I'm so glad that he doesn't have anyone and we have started dating!

I met DH 20 years and 4 months ago and his senior prom. We will be married 18 years next month. (I can tell you the month and year and approximate date, but to be exact I would have to look at the souvenier from the prom!)

DH and I met 16 years ago this week, Sept. 1988. It was in college and we both were taking Financial Accounting. We waited to get married until one of us finally graduated college. DH graduated first in May 1991. We were married in May 1993. (I finally graduated college in May 1996)

I met DH our senior year in high school in 1988. We had our first 2 classes together, but we didn't talk much. We actually first started talking and hanging out together around April of 1989. We got married in April 1990.

DH and I met on Saturday October 4, 1980. I was taking a handgun safety course for women. He was my instructor on the firing range.

DH and I met the first day of the spring semester in college in 1990. I don't remember the exact date. We didn't start dating until April of 1991 though. Got married 5 years later.

We met August 28, 1984. Last week I pulled out the album with our first year together, I had documented EVERY date. My kids had a huge laugh looking at all of the pictures and captions.

Nearly 30 years. We'll be married 30 years in April 2005.

I met DH on July 4th, 1984 at a Fourth of July beach party. My sister and her friend needed a ride to the party so I took them and decided to hang out. I guess it's a good thing I did.

I always tease him and tell him when he met me he saw fireworks!! LOL!!

I've now known him for half my life.

ETA: We were married on August 25, 1990.

We met at a Halloween party on October 31, 1980. We dated for 6 months, broke up for 9 years, got back together and got married. We celebrated our 12th anniversary in July!

We had been working together for a while. I don't know the exact date that we met, but I do know he was coming over to my desk to ask me about trivial things. Looking back, I think they were just bad excuses to start talking to me.

I have known my DH for 17 years. We've been together for 16 years and married for 13 of those. We met sometime in early 1987, but didn't start talking or hanging out til later in the year. Our first date was February 13, 1988. He took me to see Wes Craven's SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW at the movies!! Great movie to take a first date on....so I would end up in his lap!

So we met in 1987...he asked me to be his girlfriend on January 31,1988...he proposed to me in November of 1990.....and we married on May 22, 1991. So yep I suppose we've known each other for quite awhile.

We met on New Year's Eve 1990, then he left for Tech School. He came back and we started dating on February 19, 1991 and got married November 16, 1991. So, 13 years! DS was born 5/93 and DD was born 6/95. Otto is the best thing that ever happened to me!
