DH reminded me last night that this week was kind of an aniversary to us in a way. 10 years ago this week we took our 1st WDW together as a couple. :cool1: Dixie Landings. We were poor and really shouldn't of spent the $ on the trip, but I am so glad we did. Sine then we have been at least once a year, more starting 5 years ago. In fact a total of 15 trips in those 10 years. (with another one in a 2 months.) Buying DVC in 2001 is what turned us into "more then once a year" WDWorlder's.

That 1st trip was so wonderful and so much fun we couldn't wait to go back ever winter.

I guess we are hooked! :Pinkbounc

I have been taking my daughter since 1998. I had one trip before that 1985. Prior to her first WDW trip, she had several trips to DL (94,95,96 and 97). In two weeks we are going back to DL (she doesn't really remember any of those trips).

Tomorrow (3/14) will be the 3rd anniversary of DD and my first every visit to MK. We arrived in Orlando on the night of the 12th, stayed at the airport Hyatt, and then went to Sea World the next day!

That trip was the start to the whirlwind of events that led me to re-locating here just 2 1/2 months later.

DD and I saw WDW for the first time together. I had never been here growing up...

My parents took me to WDW for the first time when I was 7. That was in November of '71 and the Magic Kingdom was not even 2 months old! We stayed at the Poly (because we couldn't get a room at the Contemporary) and it was fantastic!

Many, many trips later we're still going to WDW on a regular basis. I think it is just part of who I am.

My very first trip that I can remember was with my parents & that was in 1983. As an adult I started going back in 2002, with my DH & children. We usually make 2 trips a year, especially now since we joined the DVC :cool1:

Summer of 1976 was my first time at Disney. Back when it was only the Magic Kingdom and E tickets ruled. I remember spending nearly half the day playing around on Tom Sawyers Island.

My first trip to DL was the year after it opened with my parents and sisters. My partner and I took our first trip to WDW the year we met, and next summer we will be celebrating 30 years together there.

My 1st trip was December 1971 with my parents and now I'm planning my 23 trip for Mother's Day. Who would have thought that I still love Disney. I also remember going to Disneyland in 1959 when I was 4 years old. Ahh the memories.

My first trip was April of 1990. I was 3 1/2. It was my parents' first trip to WDW too (my mom had been to DL before though)

1978, I was born in 1977.
We went again in 1990 and stayed off-site at Wilson World. I thought it was the coolest hotel on earth!
My first onsite trip was in 1996 at the SOG. I remember it like it was yesterday. I have not stayed off-site since (15+times)

I hadn't thought about it but it will be 5 years ago this spring break that we first went. And we have been addicted since. We have been back once with another trip in the making. And just today we found out that we are officially DVC SSR owners. I guess we are junkies! :wizard: God help us when we finally have kids! :teeth:

our honeymoon in 1981 - Magic Kingdom was the only park. Epcot was scheduled to open the following year and we saw them building the monorail tracks!

I think we have been there at least 22 times since then, last time was June of '05. :wizard:

Than 1977-1981 several trips. 1989 once, and than 1996 for 10 years straight! 3- 4 trips a year! :cool1:

We first went in 1984 with my parents and sister.

My first trip with DH and kids was 1998. I sure wish I had the DIS back then. We went with SIL's family and stayed offisite. We ate most of our meals offsite and didnt know any of the secrets I know today! By our next trip in 2000 I had found the DIS and everything changed for the better!

:goodvibes Dh and I started going to WDW the first year that MGM
opened. Think that was 1987, geeze can't remember. Mind is going.
Shirley :sunny:

My first trip was in June of 1972. We camped at the Fort and started a yearly tradition of spending time at the greatest campground on earth. Many, many trips later, my daughters and I are still enjoying the magic.
