How long from WDW to Port Canaveral?

Any idea how long the trip is from Animal Kingdom Lodge to Port Canaveral?

It shouldn't take you any longer than an hour.....we always take the Bee Line there which is a toll road, can't remember the exact total due but I don't think it was more than $3.00.......Andy

It shouldn't take you any longer than an hour

but plan on it taking an hour and fifteen minutes. The highway to the coast is fairly heavily patroled, so don't go too fast, don't want to start the cruise with a speeding ticket.

i think it takes approximately one hour from the airport, doesn't it, so if you are coming from WDW it would take you a little longer.

Yes, about 45 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. Take the Bee Line because it's almost a straight shot. You will come to a fork about half way there where you can go to I-95 or into Cocoa Beach, be shure to take the right fork into Cocoa. It will take you into Cocoa, over the bridges and then you will see the signs for Port Canaveral. If you look to the left when you see these signs you will see the Disney ship. It is such a great sight to see the ship when you first get there. The signs are very clearly marked so just follow them. Disney has it very organized when you srop off your luggage and then go and park your car. It makes it seem to easy. Have a great Disney trip.

We drove from Epcot to the port in just an hour and I tried not to go too fast so we wouldn't get there too early...we were all excited. I encourage you to check out Dave's DCL tribute site to download excellent directions that include some tips (that are vital when you are very excited and not paying as close attention as one should) including some great "look out for the ship" notes.
