How long from TPA to Busch Gardens

How long does it take to get from the Tampa Airport to Busch Gardens? Dh flies in beofre us, so will already have car. DD and I are flying in on a later flight and will only have carry on luggage, so can walk off the plane and get picked up. We land at 4:20 and BG is open until 6PM. With their new ticket pricing of pay for one day and go all year (or at least a week) I was wondering if it's worthwhile to try to buzz in for an hour. Might take some of the pressure off trying to do it all the next day.

on a map, BG isn't that far from the airport. at this time, the airport and I-275/I-4 are under a huge road construction project. and then you have to park and take the tram to the front gate all while knowing exactly where you're going. we live here and and I can't guarantee if we picked you up how soon we could get you to BG. if you want to try:

exit the airport and take I-275 North.
exit on Fowler Avenue, NOT Busch Blvd. fowler moves more quickly. a couple of miles down on your right you'll see the signs.
