How long from landing to arrival???

How long does it take from when your flight lands to when you get to the resort, using DME? I've heard a lot of stuff. Hmmmmm...

In Nov., our plane landed at 2:40 and we were checking into ASMovies by 4:00. I was very pleased.

Exactly 1 hour. I landed at MCO @ 12;00PM and was at SSR checking in @ 1:00pm. I was pleased.

It took me 53 minutes from the time I got into the DME line until we arrived at CBR, and that was back on May 8 when DME was just a young pup. Due to 2 young kids and one mother-in-law, we had numerous delays between deplaning and actually getting to the DME counter, but I suppose if we walked directly and didn't stop it would have taken us 7 minutes, to bring us to one hour. Even if it took 10 minutes, I still "voted" for less than 1 hour on the poll.

Okay, from landing, I'm not positive - since just because the plane has landed does NOT mean it's at the gate, or that the doors are open, or that passengers are polite and let the plane empty from front to back (the sensible way )
But from entering the terminal to getting off the bus at Pop - 59 minutes.

Both times we were on the bus within 15-20 mins and rolling to the resort.
This was in June 05 and Nov 05, and at two different resorts.

I chose the 1-2 hours but this really is a bit misleading it was just a bit over an hour, 10 to 15 minutes after the hour mark, from the time we walked off the plane and were at the Poly. This included a bathroom break and my husband gawking at the Orlando airport...this was his first time there and he was quite impressed

Between 1 -2 hours from landing, if you go by what the FAA considers landing, which is wheels down. It can take 15 minutes from wheels down just to get off the plane. Figure 5/10 minutes to the landside, and then the acutal ride time to WDW.

About 70 minutes after deplaning to resort check-in. Both times that I've used DME it has been that time frame.

It really dpends ona few things. First, what time of day are you flying in to the airport? Where are you going? How many other people are going to that resort?
When I used DME last time, it ook me less than 1 hour to get from the plane to CBR. However, I flew in very early in the morning and I was one of 10 people on the DME bus. I was also the first stop the bus made. So, for me it worked very well.
In the past it has taken longer than that, but I think a safe bet would be between 1 and 2 hours.

I had to 1 to 2 because it was about Hour & 15 mins. We were the first stop. There were 3 resorts on the bus WL, poly & Cont.
