How long from Epcot to MGM?

I know we can take the boat, but how long do you think it would take? We are considering dinner at Chefs de France and then Fantasmic at MGM. We are just not excited by the TS meals at MGM! Totally OT, but it is really frustrating to plan TS meals and discover almost every restaurant we want is in the Worl Showcase. Thanks for the help!

Because the boats make several stops, I'd say it's at least a 20 minute trip.

20 minute trip if the boat is at the dock when you exit International Gateway.

If it is pulling away, add another 20 minutes for the next one or walk to Boadwalk and catch it there. You could walk all the way to MGM but that will take anything from 20 to 45 minutes depending on how much you have eaten, how much wine, how fast you walk, whether you have children with you.

Then add the time to walk from Chefs to International Gateway and from the MGM boat dock to Fantasmic.

If you are not getting reserved seats at Fantasmic (only available if you eat at selected restaurants in MGM), get there at least an hour early.
