How long does WD Weddings take to get back to you?

I contacted Disney Weddings on Monday and they said that a Wedding Coordinator would get back to me in a couple of days. I don't mean to sound too anxious but I'm starting to panic as it's been 2 days and I haven't heard.

The thing is I've got Randy Chapman and an Officiant on hold to see if my Wedding can be scheduled on the date I hope for. I don't want to pester Disney so I wondered how long most people waited before Disney Weddings got back to them? I can't book anyone until I hear form Disney

I planned ours in 2005 and it was the same thing. I called them and they said someone would get back to me in 2 days. 3 days later I called again and was told the same thing. After 1 week I finally called again and I told them that I'd been put off twice and I wanted to speak with someone that day and I got a call back that afternoon. Since we had an Intimate I had to get our 4-night room reservation done before they would talk to me further, but then it was just one more phone call and we were on our way! It may take you making a couple of phone calls for someone to get back to you, but don't give up. Wait one more day and then try again. I know it's hard, but I'm sure they get a lot of calls, so be patient but persistent!

Our first call was returned about 2-3 days later. Depending on the how busy they are, I'm sure it can get much longer.

I just called and they said someone would get back to me in 3 - 4 business days, "so probably Monday, Tuesday".

Yeah it took them a week or so to get back to us at that point.

We called on Friday August 25th, and he told me the coordinator would call back the following week, mid to end of the week. Well, we are still waiting on the call. I figured last week they might be busy dealing with Tropical Storm Ernesto, so I didn't want to bother them. However I"m starting to get a tinsy bit impatient! LOL I'm going to try to wait until the end of this week/begining of next week. My fiance works nights, and i work days, and we both want to be on the line when we talk to her. Plus i work 8:30-5:30 so i can't call from home!!!

I hope you hear from them soon!!!

We have already booked Randy Chapman for our date, and already paid the depost. He did say he could change our dates around if we needed to!!

The 800 number that you call to find out about Disney weddings is not really Disney weddings. It is a call center that they use to track incoming calls. If you haven't heard anything by tomorrow I would call back!

Call back tomorrow if you haven't heard from them by then. Let them know how serious you are about booking your wedding...I've learned that they will call you back faster!

Well I called WDWeddings and they didn't even have me on the system She tried to disguise it by saying "Hmmm let me check again, maybe we've mispelled it" Eventually she agreed we weren't there

Anyway she was really nice and I said "things happen" and she has assured me that she will try and get a coordinator to get back to me ASAP.

So for all you people who haven't heard back, I advise that you call to check you're at least on the system.

Just wondering...if that 1-800 number is a call center, then when you actually are booked will you get a "real" phone number to contact your coordinator?

Okay it's Monday again and I still haven't heard from WDWeddings. I decided I am going to call again later today if they don't call me. That's been a week so I figured they should have been in contact. I know my Wedding is still 11 months away but I can't book anything else until I know that this date is secure. My fiance said if we can get this booked, we may look into going on the Disney Cruise for 3 nights as well as our 3 week vacation to WDW and u have no idea how much I would love that. I think a little bit of Disney is rubbing off on him

Called Disney and the call operator said that he hopes Disney will call me tonight I don't know what the chances are of that happening, but I think I now might call every day until I get some joy! I can't organise the DCL for 3 days until I get my Wedding date booked, this really sux

I would do just that. Call every single day until they do something about that. I would also explain that if someone doesn't return my call by X date that you intend to find somewhere else to hold your wedding (even if you aren't serious) there is no excuse for it to take that long. You are the customer and they should be trying very hard to get in touch with you! Keep trying. Sorry it is taking so long. Are you having an intimate or a custom?

I have booked our Wedding, we are booked for Sea Breeze Pointe at 10.00am August 17th 2007. YAY!!!!

We are having an intimate wedding, just the two of us.

The only weird thing is she said that having the Wedding on the Friday costs exactly the same as on the Monday, but she priced the package at $2950, yet the web says $2750, do you think that is because the prices on the web are for 2006, so she has adjusted the price for 2007?

Either way IT'S BOOKED
