How long does that US/IOA 7 day ticket deal last?

I will probably go to Orlando again at soonest by December '07. But this time rather than just WDW, I want to go to Universal Orlando also. Those special tickets are what I want to buy. You know, the 7 day park hopper for only $86 bucks. Are they going to expire soon? Or are they there for an unlimited amount of time?

It would really suck if I missed out on that deal because if that deal were to end, that would probably mean I would end up not going to Universal.

So whats up with these tickets? Do they mail them to you? Or do you pick them up at the gate? How do you know your going to get them and its not a scam, or you get there and they tell you, you cant have them? I just want to go about this the right way. How long do I have to decide? HEEEEEELP!!!!! I'm freakin' out man!!!!

the tickets are not a scam.

i have bought on line tickets for over 7 years. i can assure you, tickets sold on line thru universal are valid.

also, if you look above the thread areas where the banners are, you will see the special promo for UO tickets. the dis board would never post anything that was not checked out and valid.

you can print the tickets off at home from your printer.
or you can do kiosk pick up at the park area.

if you do pick up, bring the cc you used to pay for the passes and the confirmation # for kiosk pick up.

one year i did kiosk pick up but went to the gs area and they gave me my ticket instead of going over to the kiosk. there was no line that day and the tm just wanted to help me out.


no one knows how long this promo will exist. it is a deal, 7 days of park time for both parks for $85. you can't buy a 2 day 2 park pass for that little.


the meal deal was something i was going to buy into when it had the discount.
the day i went to the site, it was gone.

you snooze..... you lose.......and i am still kicking myself now over losing that deal.

we never know when UO will pull a promo.

Is it better to prite them up and save them? Or should I buy them now and just pick them up at the kiosk? Or is there any other way to do it?

Personally, I am leaning toward just printing them up now.

So its that easy? I just buy HERE online. Then I get the choice to print...? Then save until my trip, and they'll still be good. Cool! But who do I show them to when I go? Do I just pull them out at the front gate? Or do I show them to the front gate and he'll trade me with a real card? or what?

if you waited 3 years to pick up the tickets at the kiosk, you will not have a problem. they are stored until you try to pick them up.

you need a confirmation number, which you will receive once you order tickets on line. that number will be stored in the system.

you need a credit card to verify how you paid for them.
if you cancel the cc out before you pick them up, check with guest services. they will help you.

one year i did not want to use the kiosk. i went to the guest service window and showed them my email copy of the ticket confirmation.
the did what ever they do w/those numbers in their computor and handed me my tickets.


if you have a technical question, you can always email it to guest services or call them for more clarification.

but, i can tell you, buying the tickets on line is not a scam.
some people do not want to print out the tickets in case they would lose them.

if you printed them out and did lose them, print out a copy of the email confirmation. you can take that to guest services for additional help to replace the lost tickets.

If you belong to AAA you can buy the same tickets at your local office for $85 flat. Saves about 7 buck per ticket.
