How long does monorail run after park closing?

I haven't kept up with this in a long time and I couldn't find the answer...so I was hoping you could help me.

We are thinking about staying at the Contemporary in Oct. We are planning on having dinner at Victoria and Albert's (it is for our 10th anniversary). I presently have a reservation for 9:15 (I made this when our hotel reservation was for the Boardwalk). Now, I know the dinner at V and A takes, usually, from 2 to 2 and a half hours. So, we wouldn't be leaving until around 11:15 - 11:45.

That night the MK closes at 9:00 (the extra magic hours are at epcot till midnight i think). Would the hotel monorail still be running that late so we could get from the GF back to the Contemporary? Or should I try to make an earlier reservation? What time would the monorail stop running?

The express monorail closes 1 hour after park closing time. Not sure about the resort monorail. In any case, they will have busses running after that or you can take a cab.

Resort and express will shut down at 10pm that night. Watercraft transportation from GF back to MK would only be available until park clear so that probably won't work. You're basically either have to take a bus to DTD or another park(EPCOT since it has EMH) then get another bus to ur hotel OR take a 5 min taxi ride.

I would avoid the bus to/from DTD. It can take over an hour to make the trip from GF-DTD-CR. Well worth it to pay for a 5 minute taxi ride.
