From the CR front doors to the MK gates....10 -15 miutes tops...and that's if you are hung up at the light due to road traffic (nothing major, 2 lanes) Weusually make better time walking than the monorail.
At an easy pace, it's only about 5-10 minutes. Closer to 5. It's faster than the monorail, unless you have incredible luck with a monorail arriving to the MK from the Grand Floridian.
depends on how hot it is and how many whiny, tired kids are with you; whether you rented a stroller from the park (that you can't take with you) or if you brought your own; how many blisters are on your feet; how chafed your thighs are; how close you are to passing out from the heat (no benches along the way); how quick you can dodge the cars at the crosswalk (again, provided you aren't about to keel over from the heat); how much stuff you decided to bring with you (backpack, diaper bag, cooler, mini fridge, portable a/c unit, water bottles around your neck on lanyards) that you now have to shift from arm to arm while you also carry hot, tired kids....
Seriously, if late in the day, we prefer the monorail. CR is the firt stop after it makes after picking you at MK. (It's worth the wait for a few minutes of standing still to us.) Of course, then you have to decide to walk back to MK or ride?! Well, this of course now also depends on much you ate on top of everything I posted above...
If you're going to MK about 5-10 minutes. If you're going from MK, take the monorail - easier on the feet and ears (when cranky kids whine, it's not so pleasant on the ears)
Stingmom has got it nailed When you get to that point where every step is another inch up Everest, any walk is too far. I would say 10 minutes by the time you are actually at the entrance of Main St.
