Wilderness Lodge?
TIA any input is greatly appreciated!

There is no way for us to tell you how long it will take and be correct about it. Too many variables go into each trip.
Your arrival at bus station, how crowded are the buses, are you taking the internal bus to the outpost and waiting then for a bus to your location, are you taking an internal bus to the settlement and taking a boat ??
Going to HS/Epcot/AK took us from 20 to 30 minutes once we got a bus at the outpost. Most days was an hour from our trailer door to our destination. This included catching an internal bus then waiting for a bus at the Outpost.
We drove to DTD. Wilderness lodge was about a 10 min ride when the boats were not running due to fog on the way to MK.

As PaHunter said, there are a lot of variables. During the same stay, a trip to the same place on different days can vary from 20 minutes to an hour. We tried to give our selves 45 minutes. That seemed to be a good average. Most times it came in a little under. Some times, MUCH longer. Like the time we were coming from HS. We watched 3 buses come to every other stop until ours finally came. We stood at the bus depot at HS for 50 minutes. That was once. Most waits are 5-15 minutes.

Alrighty... Makes planning for dining reservations a little tricky, but we'll work with it.

This will be our first trip without having our own vehicle. We'll make it work :)

If you're worried about times, I'd highly suggest renting a golf cart so you don't have to wait on the internal busses as well. They run pretty regularly but it's yet another bus you have to wait on.

It does make dinner reservations tricky. I believe before we left I read on the Disney website to allow 90 minutes to get to a dinner reservation. Depends where you are going to and coming from. We had dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's and just walked from MK to the Contemporary. We would have taken the monorail, but they were fixing it while we were there and it was not a choice at that time. After 4pm the boats coming from Contemporary to the Fort were crowded with people coming from MK or from Fort Wilderness to the Fort for HDDR. And we were there at a low crowd time. So best of luck to you, but it is hard to plan your day down to the minute.

We had that problem coming back from AK, saw 3 buses to some other resorts and ours finally showed after 25 minutes. Of course we were the only ones on the bus. Win some, lose some.

1) Of course, it depends upon how long you must wait for the next empty bus or boat.
2) But, for travel time(s) . . .
. . . MK, via boat, 20-minutes; via bus, 25-minutes (usually stops at WL, first)
. . . EP, via bus, 15-minutes
. . . AK, via bus, 25-minutes
. . . DTD, via bus, 15-minutes
. . . TL, via bus, 15-minutes
. . . WL, via bus, 10-minutes

First time to FW and I was also wondering what places you can get to from FW by boat and then monorail. I know you can take boat over to Magic Kingdom then take monorail to Poly, Contemporary, Grand Floridian, but anywhere else? If we took boat over and then wanted to get to Epcot/Boardwalk would you have to take a bus? Can you get to Epcot/Boardwalk on monorail? It's our first time to Fort, and before that we used to stay at the moderates and rent a car and I honestly can't remember everything about the monorail or boat. I remember there being a boat at Boardwalk as we once stayed at the Dolphin to get to Epcot. Where does the boat from Dolphin/Boardwalk go to just Epcot only? Oh sorry if I'm hijacking.

From the Fort you can get a boat to MK or Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary. To get to Epcot by monorail would require a transfer at the TTC for that monorail. We came back from Epcot this way, Epcot monorail to the resort monorail to Contemporary, then a boat back to the fort, nice relaxing way to return. Other than that it is buses to everywhere else, as the monorail was never built to DTD, which is a shame.

1) MUCH, MUCH faster just to take the buses to anywhere except MK from The Fort.
2) Too much travel time, transfer time, and effort, to monorail except Epcot.
. . . don't ever think the monorai will be expanded to other parks
. . . way too costly
. . . plus, no economic benefit to WDW (buses are cheaper and more flexible for capacity/crowd changes)
3) You CAN get to Baordwalk via the monorai.
. . . however, very impractical
. . . you monorail to Epcot, then have to walk through Epcot to walk to Boardwalk
. . . far too much walking and time involved
3) The boats at Boardwalk go among the hotels (Boardwalk, BC/YC, Swan/Dolphin) and Epcot/Studios.

All those times quoted, notwithstanding, I think if you plan an "HOUR" from door to door, you should probably be safe, particularly if you are counting on Busing/boating/monorail for your transportation. So many factors could effect each of these including the Crowd, the weather, your timing (perhaps you JUST missed the bus), Elderly and/or people with disabilities embarking/debarking, and even other traffic incidents.

If you have a car, how long does it take to get from your campsite to the main road? And how long would it take to walk from a centrally located camp site to the MK boat dock?

Well not sure which main road you want to get to ?? I walked from the 1400 loop to the marina at the campground in about 10 minutes.

It all depends, weagle.

Walking, from the entrance to the 900 loop (which is right across from the entrance to the Meadows Trading Post), is barely over half a mile to the Fort dock. Even at a leisurely 2mph pace that is 15 minutes. That's from the loop entrance. Add a few minutes if you start from the back of the loop.

Some central loops are closer than 900, some are further. But to me, the Meadows TP is "central".

For the parks other than MK personally I drive back and forth. For EPCOT, I might boat to the Contemporary and then monorail into EPCOT but probably not to make a rope drop.

I have found transportation to and from the fort to be much quicker then other reasons. Most recently I stayed at AOA, their buses were a further walk (out of parks) and took way longer! Transportation to and from the fort is amazing. However, you can not predict an accident or other variable. Plan on getting to ADR early and explore the resort your ADR are at if you get there too early. So many hidden treasures to see in places you may not think to look.
