How long does it take to get an email confirmation?

When you called to change your reservation to club level, did you use the make new reservation option or modify existing reservation? I have been trying to upgrade to concierge at the Poly but have not had any luck.

It took me about 24 hours to receive a confirmation email when I first booked our trip. I called and paid off our package Friday evening and didn't get an email confirming it until last night.

I am thinking you mean on the phone where you press #1 or #2???? I pressed the modify existing reservation #2. Was able to use my 40% code for club level also.

Do you mean they tell you that you can't use your discount to bump up or maybe all the club level rooms at that discounted price is gone for the days you need

I got so tired of being stressed out about my 2 existing reservations-because of not getting emails, having incorrect information on my reservations, and getting conflicting stories from different people at CRO, that I am in the process of transferring my reservations to Dreams Unlimited.

I was told that yes I could use my 40% off for club level but that there are none available for this code at this time. They told me to keep trying as it is our 25th anniversary and I really wanted to stay concierge. I just am afraid that every time I call they will cancel my existing reservation (I don't want to lose this) and didn't know if it was better to keep trying back with the new reservation selection. I guess I am just worrying over nothing. I do hope some more rooms open up at club level in August for the Poly. I could not make the call right away when I got the email due to some important family issues which put a vacation at 2nd priority.

I would keep calling and trying and maybe something will open up. Or could you maybe consider another resort with club level? (Maybe not if your heart is set on the Poly). This is our 25th Anniversary Trip also (August 30-Sept 5)

FWIW: When I called to upgrade to club level, they didn't cancel my previous reservation, just amended it...still have original reservation number.

Thanks Poohgirl6. Unfortunately, I do have my heart set on the Polynesian. I just am kicking myself for not finding 5 minutes to call the day I got the discount. What can I say. . . we have stayed club level 3 times (the last time we were upgraded from GV to GVC and I am sure that won't happen twice in a lifetime). I just am so spoiled !
