I need to get from Downtown Disney to FW in the easiest way possible. Then from FW to the Allstar Movies.

Any comments or suggestions?

Thank you!!!!! :D

From Downtown Disney, there is a direct bus to Fort Wilderness. It will be stop #4. That bus travels to WL, and then to FW.

I'm assuming you're going to the Hoop Dee Doo. Once you get to the Fort Wilderness Outpost Depot (that's where the DTD bus drops off), you're going to want to catch a bus that says SETTLEMENT.

To get back to the All-Stars, you have a few options. If the MK is open, take the boat, and catch the bus there.

2nd choice for transfer point would be the Disney-MGM Studios. That bus picks up right at the Settlement.

3rd and 4th choices would be Epcot and DTD. Those buses are at the Outpost, so you'll need to hop on an Outpost bus to get there.

If you ever have any questions, make sure to ask someone wearing purple pants. If they don't have purple pants, they might not be giving you the most accurate information.

Thanks for your help, Tyler!! You assumed correctly :)

For some reason I get so confused about getting around the Disney property. :o

But my DH won't even ask for directions

Thank you!

I forgot to mention times... I'd be at the DTD bus stop at least one hour prior to when you need to be at the Hoop... Not that it will take that long, but I'd rather you get there early.

One other thing... if the bus happens to go to Wilderness Lodge before Fort Wilderness (which is how it's supposed to go, but not all drivers follow that)... Get out there. At WL, take the bus marked FORT WILDERNESS at stop number 1. (Don't get on the bus marked TRAN/TICKET CTR)

Why do I recommend this? If you stayed on the DTD bus, you'd end up at the Outpost Depot, and you'd have to take a Settlement bus. The FW bus at WL goes to the Settlement, and will get you there a lot quicker. So basically, it just takes a leg out of your journey. You're just coming from a different end, and saving time.

If this is a bit confusing, then don't worry about it. It's just a secret option. :)
