It was 86 degrees at my house today around 1pm. We drove over to Lake Huron, about an hour and 15 minute drive, and once we got over by the lake it was 62 degrees. The wind was out of the northeast and bringing all the cool air off of the lake onto land.
I have to admit that while I was out this morning doing some yard work, it was hot and HUMID, and I did have a very brief thought about fall temperatures.
Yeah, I know. I was just in Dallas/Ft. Worth area this weekend. If it hadn't been for the 100 mph winds, it would have been miserable outside. OK, maybe it was more like 20-30 mph wind...or something like that.
As for the OP's question - I've been looking forward to the fall weather for about a week now.
We just got our first days over 75 this weekend, and summer temps rarely get out of the 80's, so even though I love fall and the crisp days and nights, I'm not even thinking about it yet. Aspen are just putting on leaves.
