How long does Chef M's breakfast take?

We have PS for CM's character breakfatst at 8AM on a day MK opens at 9AM. We want to be there for gate opening. Is that enough time? Since it is a buffet I thought it would be plenty (especially since we can walk over if monorail line isbad.) Now I'm getting worried about cutting it too close. Opinions?

We usually spend about 1 hour at CMs, however we make multiple trips to the buffet and usually take our time. If we were in a hurry, we could probably do it in 45 minutes.
Being as nuerotic as I am, if I really wanted to be at the gate for opening, 8:00 would be cutting it too close. Id opt for a 7:30 PS, or at the latest, 7:45. Dont forget, even with a PS, you arent guaranteed to be seated right at the PS time, so while there is a good chance you will be seated at 8:00, you also might not be seated until a little later.

We always allow at least 1 to 11/2 hours for character meals!

you can make it as long or as short as you want it.....if you want the atmosphere and eat you can be in and out in 30 minutes....if you want to eat and meet all the characters I say closer to a 1 1/2....
