How long does Chef Mickeys dinner take?

I agree with PP, it takes us 1&1/2 hours to do CM...and it is just 2 adults. You can easily spend that plus more there. So it is best to plan accordingly.

Also give yourself half an hour leeway on your time to be seated. It's not uncommon to have a wait past your ADR time as the night moves on.

Wow... I feel like we're in and out for breakfast only about 45 min-1hour. Is dinner that much slower with the characters?

Ours take about 45min ~ 1.5hour. Depending on how fast the characters come.

We had an 8:15 ADR last Friday night. We showed up about 20 minutes early, had to wait about 20 minutes, ate and were back in MK by 10.

Now - we could have been out of there about 30 minutes earlier but we are a family of 6 and we have a few slowpokes plus we enforced a trip to the bathroom before leaving the restaurant.

We were there last week and our ADR was for 5:00 pm we were seated at 5:20 pm. We arrived 10 minutes early as they requested but we still had a bit of a wait to be seated.

We finished eating and seeing all the characters by 7:00pm. We headed to the monorail about 7:10 pm.

As we had a wheelchair with us we took the monorail to MK rather than walk and it was CROWDED as the 7:00 pm parade was near ending and everyone was trying to get back to their resorts and the TTC. Then all the people at the Contemporary and from CM trying to get to the park it took 3-4 monorails before we finally got on.

We were in the park by7:50 pm. Almost 3 hours after our reservations for CM were to begin.

I know this may not be common but this was our experience.

We had a 5:10 reservation last Monday night and were seated at about 5:15. We left at about 7:00. The biggest thing is you have to wait for your turn with the characters. We saw Pluto, Minnie, and Goofy and then waited for Donald and Mickey. It's just one of those thing where you have to wait. We were at O'hana breakfast for 2 hours and the last 35 minutes we were waiting for Lilo. Done with food, just waiting... You can tell your server, but chances are if you're waiting, so is everyone else around you and that was the case.

Our first time there we MISSED Mickey and a few of the other characters. I don't know what happened, but they miss-timed seating us, and they totally missed us. We had to go stand at other peoples tables (brought over by the wait staff) to see them. It wasn't comfortable for us, or the peoples whos tables we were standing at....

We went the next year for dinner, and all was fine. There were about... 15 of us, and were were there over 2 hours, but we had great interaction with the characters this time. We were one of the last families in the restaurant (late ADRs + big party), and I guess they were a little bored, so they really hung around with us.
