How long does cellular data last from Vancouver?

We sailed to Hawaii in 2020 and I recalled that cellular data lasted seemingly forever once we left port. I believe it almost went until the next day; my recollection it took us a good 24 hours to get out to open sea. I recall going through the strait forever and then past Vancouver Island? anyone confirm this who has recently sailed from
vancouver? The reason why I ask is because I plan to work from the boat on day 2 and I prefer not to buy Disney data. Trying to get my vacation days sorted out this year as we are on the 2022 sailing too. Thx!

From my experience on the Wonder in September 2022, you will get internet every day only if you are on the top deck and at the right time. There were days at sea where I may have only gotten signal for an hour or so, but I was on the top deck. I had an inside stateroom so I was on the top deck a lot when outside the room. I would go into the cruise to not expect to have internet for the days at sea. I did not purchase an internet package, but I was satisfied with the amount of signal I received on this cruise on non-sea days. Internet from my experience on past Disney cruises has been painfully slow. I know they recently upgraded the internet on some ships so it may have gotten better, but the Wonder was still on the older technology. I have Google Fi so I do not pay for roaming/international data so always left the signal on to roam when out at sea just in case it found something.

Day 1 - Vancouver - Basically you have a signal almost the entire day
Day 2 - At Sea - Sporadic since you are going through the inside passage (Worst waves were at night when going out to Pacific Ocean)
Day 3 - Glacier Day - Only had it for an hour in the morning on the top deck
Day 4 - Skagway - Signal good in port and for at least an hour after departure
Day 5 - Juneau - Signal good in port and for at least an hour after departure
Day 6 - Ketchikan - Signal good in port and for at least an hour after departure
Day 7 - At Sea - Sporadic throughout the day, but improved once you got closer to Vancouver (Did not go through inside passage upon return)
Day 8 - Vancouver - Very early in the morning, you'll get normal signal back
