how long does beer/alcohol stay in your system?

Just from you asking such a question I'd be willing to bet that things will not go well for you... :sad2:

Subscribing because certain threads are better than cable.

If you have to ask you shouldn't be doing it. And I'll say it..what on earth did you do?

Could be totally off base here, but I have a gut feeling that this is not being asked by the person who has this user name.. I'm betting it's her son..
The style of writing - and the punctuation - is way off base for this particular poster..:rolleyes1

Am I the only one who is suspicious? I've seen this poster raked over the coals in the past here and there's no way she would ask this on the DIS!!!

may be given a pee test - how far ahead of a probation officer meeting do i NEED to stop drinking? is it 72 hrs to clear out?
how about smoking?

Will you have internet access in jail? If so let us know how it goes.....

Uhm, first off you should never violate the conditions of your probation, unless of course you are trying to break into jail. As for the alcohol it depends on how much and how often you drink. Alcohol shows up as Ethanol in urine tests and if you eat and drink water most is clear in 24 to 48 hours. Now smoking is different. Nicotine is about the same as alcohol. However the other smoke of choice is stored in your fat cells and can be detected for as much as 3 months later. I suggest you do some serious thinking about your future here. It is important to know that to get anywhere in life you have to make lifestyle changes that possitively effect your future. There are no short cuts and cheating doesn't work either. If you aren't supposed to drink, DON'T! If you are not supposed to smoke ( whatever it is ) then DON'T! Trust me on this one, my sister tried and spent 2 years in prison for her efforts to cheat the system. Good luck to you! I wish you the best!

Looking through old posts, the OP uses a hyphen instead of a comma or dash quite a bit. ;)

one word to take away all your worries: whizzinator.

If this is the poster who normally posts under that screen-name, and I'm going to assume it is...
A few thoughts...I'm sorry things don't seem to be going as well as you had hoped. It would appear that there have been some issues. My advice? Realize that there is a problem. Rather than trying to 'get around' it, do something about it. Clean yourself up. Anytime someone has to ask how long it takes something to get out of their system in order to pass a urine test, bells go off in my head. Makes me think of my older kids....seem to love their weed, and don't want to give it up, but will go to extreme lengths to get it out of their system in time for a drug test for employment. I am hoping that as they get older, they mature and stop that particular habit.
Anyway...OP, please get whatever support you need to make things right. I hope I'm not making too many assumptions here, but it sounds like alcohol may be an issue for you if you are concerned about passing a urine test.
Best of luck.
