How long does a charachter meal last?

I assume you can stay up to 90 minutes (of course, you don't have to stay that long, but that is probably the limit). I know that Goofy's Kitchen has a 90-minute limit, but people often don't realize it because they don't exactly come around and enforce it at Goofy's. I suppose, if it starts to get super busy there and someone who arrived at 8:00 a.m. is still there 2-1/2 hours later, grazing at the buffet, they may make subtle hints. Then again, the layout is different there - it is an all you can eat buffet that beckons people to make repeated visits to get food and take longer; not the same sort of situation at Ariel's where they bring the food to your table. The last CM I spoke to in Disneyland Dining said that all the character meals had that same 90-minute time limit, but again, if it is not buffet, then it seems like it could take less time than 90 minutes, I would think.

The meals we've done in the past have all taken about an hour. They give you more time, especially at the buffets, but my kiddos have eaten, met the characters, danced with them, and are ready to go in around an hour!

seatings are every 80 minutes and you cannot park there. You are to meet Ariel, sit down for meal time, sometimes get up and dance, and have the princesses come to you. They try to clear out the restaurant in between sets. You get one dessert tray for about 4 people and one tray of snacks for about 4 people. You can ask for more of course but not sure what they would say.

60-90 minutes is your allowed seating time. If you go over they will ask you to leave so they can use your table. ime it's more than enough time to see everyone at least once.
