I brought DS5 in this morning for his pre op visit. He appointment was at 10am. I got there 5 mins early signed in and waited. I waited 45 mins, they took us back and took his vitals. We then went into the room and waited another 35mins for the dr to come in. He checked him out and filled out the pre op form (all of which took 5 mins) we then left.
This is not the first time we have waited long to get in for our visit. One time they let us sit in the waiting room for 1.5hrs! I went to the desk to make sure everything was ok and was told it was. 15mins later, they call me up to say that they are having a problem with my ins co and for me to call them?!?!?! OK, couldn't they have brought this to my attention a little sooner?
I am going to look for a new pediatrician, but am wondering what is an average wait time in the dr office.
thanks for listening.....

most of us have to take time off work to go to the dr. I'd rather be making $ than sitting in a dr. office!!
