How long do you think it would take you to plan a Disney World vacation?

Oh dear. You are too much. :lmao: I wonder what would happen if you, me, and DisneyTiger get together! :rotfl2:

Go to WS without her. I'd say let her sleep in and go in the morning one day, but WS doesn't open until 11. Hmmmm....She's 16, right? I think that was about the age that my parents let my brother and I split off for partial days a couple times during the trip so my parents could do what they wanted and we could do what we wanted. We would stay in the same park and have a designated meeting time and place. Worked like a charm! Of course, since it was a family trip, we'd only do that for a few hours a couple of times during the week, but it kept the peace! :thumbsup2
That sounds like a plan to me. Brennan loves WS and the films. I don't think Courtney would go off by herself. We need to arrange a dis meet in Baton Rouge when you go there that way all three of us can be there. I don't mind driving there because I need to go visit my cousin anyway.
Hi! I read your last trip report and LOVED it! We were there last Mardi Gras too, and although we get 3 days this year, we are going for our birthdays

I have an 18 y/o DD, a senior in HS, who wants NO part of Disney anymore  breaks my heart but what can you do? Her school goes there for senior trip in April and guess what? She doesn't want to go!!! I think teens are more concerned with boys, friends, school than vacations with family. My other 3 are DIS addicts! They beg to come here and read TR :goodvibes

Look forward to hearing all about your planning and your trip. I cannot believe how much Grace has grown since last TR! She is gorgeous, really! Hope you get Courtney to change her mind and join you all

I am glad you came back. I know what you mean about teenagers. I didn't like Disney World at all when my parents took me when I was sixteen. I would have rathered stay home and go out with my friends.

Where'sPiglet?;29459408Gosh...I sound like a news teaser "Stay tuned to find out if the foot is in good condition. AND said:
that's funny!!!:lmao:

I'm so glad I found your pre-trip report. I really enjoyed reading your last trip report. I found it way after you had finished it so I never replied to that one. We are going the same time as you (Feb 21, my birthday,- March 1). We are in Mandeville where the kids get a whole week off of school.
To chime in on a couple of things: No, you can never have enough LSU stuff. My DS9 just can't understand why I won't let him wear his bright purple LSU Crocs to church. Until I left Louisiana it never occured to me that people ate anything but Black-eyed Peas and Cabbage on New Years Day. Jan 1st is DH's birthday, he's from New York, and can't understand why we have to eat this on his birthday every year.

Welcome. I am glad you found me too. Happy Late Birthday to your husband. Where are you staying? We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. My kids used to get a whole week off of school for Mardi Gras but this year it is only two days.

Great update. You are too funny:lmao: My little boy loves the snuggie commercial "Mom, we have to get some of those!" He is my snuggler! Hope the foot is OK and your teenager smartens up:rotfl2:

Jay Leno says forget the snuggie. Just put a bathrobe on backwards! :lmao:

Course, he also said "What's the name of that other big city in New Orleans? It starts with a B or something?" :headache:

Too bad we didn't come up with the bright idea to sell backwards robes. We could be millionares.

Geee, doesn't she just look so comfy. Too comfy to use a blanket. Blankets are for sissies.

I just found your report and am loving it!:thumbsup2 I have a DS16 and he does not want to go with us when we go back for Spring Break in March. I having been thinking about letting him stay with a friend, but I'm so torn.:confused3 He is a great student and an all around great kid. I really don't think he would regret not going because it's really not his thing, but I really want him to go. Also he will have to miss one of his high school baseball games, which he does not want to miss. I really aggrevates me that a game would be scheduled over break. Good luck with your daughter, I have a super sassy DD13 that tries my patience daily.:upsidedow

This part of the world may never be the same again. :scared1: but then that has been said after the last 4 hurricanes. :sad2:

Funny how I used to be able to sleep in. Now, it's still dark when I wake up. :confused3

Not yet. I just bought Grace two disney custom dresses from ebay.:cool1: I will post pictures when they come in.

Shoot....I don't get that "bright and early" thing. Early is DARK.

And I hate how in the dead of winter (i.e., NOW) it's dark when I ARRIVE at work AND dark when I LEAVE work. Shouldn't there be some sort of law against that kind of thing? :confused3

And are you saying DARuss, that if Coteau_chick, DisneyTiger, and I get together, the force of our silliness will equal the strength of FOUR HURRICANES?!? :scared1:

I need to go run to walgreens and pick one of those backwards robes up right now. I will bring it to Disney World with me in case it gets cold in the evening.:rotfl2:

I don't think Courtney will regret not coming either. She does feel torn too because she wants to see how her little sister will react. She just doesn't want to miss school. I guess I should be glad she takes school so seriously. Courtney started to get hormonal attitudes with me when she turned thirteen. She always had a very strong will but this attitude just drives me crazy. It is not all the time but when she starts it can be ugly. I can't tell you how many times I had to call her daddy at work. By the way, Welcome. I am glad you came along.

I agree with having a law against that kind of stuff. ::yes::

Well I don't know if it will have the strenghth of four but it could be number 5. (was that some kind of character in a movie or something?). Something else that happens more, forgetfullness. I wonder why my kids call me Dori. Seems like they told me why, but I don't remember.:confused3

Hmmm, backwards robes? Sounds interesting. :rolleyes1 I think I might just get one for DW. ::yes::

Is everyone as delirious as me??? I think it's time to go to bed. I can't see through my contacts anymore. I am going to grab my snuggie and head off to dream land.

PS - number 5 is the robot from Short Circuit. Great movie:thumbsup2 Nighty night all:)

Too bad the snuggie doesn't come in Lime green. Just think how easy it would be to spot other disers.:rotfl2:
