How long do you stay?

We take 9 day vacations (two weekends and 1 vacation week from work), but we split our trip between the Disney Cruise and WDW. Also, if we drive, that takes off days from our 'fun' time.

We love both the Disney Cruise AND WDW so much, and my dream is to spend a week at WDW and then go on a 7 night Disney Cruise. BUT......this year, we are doing the 7 night Disney cruise then heading over to WDW to spend Saturday and part of Sunday before our flight back home.

We stay a month - we take 38 days off. Drive from the Grand Canyon Natl. Park, rent a house and have a good ol' time.

We are doind 3 day land 4 day cruise then 4 nights/5 days back at disney, universal and seaworld.

We like to stay 8-9 nights, since we go in Sept. DD only misses a week of school (she's a good student and still really young). When she gets older we will probably have to go when she won't miss school and since it is so crowded in the summer we will most likely do two weeks.

Ditto.

Our trip last fall was a total of 14 nights, but only 7 nights/8days were at WDW. We also spent some nights in Daytona Beach (and on the road). I could have easily stayed at WDW for the whole 14 nights, but I had to compromise with DH. :p Our DD was 4 when we went and still in preschool. For future trips, we are going to have to go when she is out of school (most likely summer), so I see us staying the full 14 nights at Disney due to the crowds.

We only stayed 5 nights the very first time we went. Since then, we usually stay between 7 - 10 nights.

We usually stay 10 or 11 days. This is a good amount of time for us at WDW b/c we can take our time and don't have to hurry trying to squeeze in all we want to do. I like being able to see everything we want at our own pace and being able to see things we really like several times throughout the vacation. It's also nice to be able to take a day or 2 and sit by the pool or do whatever and not have to worry about missing anything at the parks.

We feel more relaxed when we return home from the longer vacations than we do with short vacations b/c we take time to sit and relax.

we have only been lucky enough to go once and we went for a week.....i am blessed enough to be going back for christmas and we will stay a week then too......i would love to be able to stay longer but with hubbys work schedule it just doesnt allow........

We only go to FL once every four to five years, we usually stay four days, in May 2000 we spent one day in the MK, two days at Universal and one day just sort of resting in between the parks. This year we are staying at Pop for five nights (our first time staying inside of Disney), we will have four days in Disney---I'd LOVE to stay a couple more days, but our budget just won't allow it. :(

We always go from Saturday to Sunday--7days/8 nights. We get a 5 day park hopper plus ticket and are able to see all four parks plus a day at a water park. We never leave Disney though so I don't know if you are planning on doing Universal or Sea World. We have plenty of time (would LOVE 10-14 days but just can't afford!)to see all of Disney.

<we are "touring" with 3 kids 7,5 &,4 years old - in- tow so if you don't have little ones, you will be able to see even more>:earsgirl:
