How long do you stay at HH?

Considering an add-on at HH but can't decide how many points would cover us. I was thinking it might help if I had some input from the folks who have gone there, especially from folks who go there repeatedly. How long do you stay usually?

We stayed at HH for 6 days last March. Next year we are considering staying there for 10 days in October. We donot play tennis and limited golf-just like the surroundings. Will travel to Savannah for a day or so (not far away). Last year after visitng there, we drove down to OKW (only around 6 hours away).

On our first trip we booked 2 nights but couldn't bear to leave so we stayed a 3rd. This was on a return trip from OKW to New Hampshire. We didn't expect to be so impressed. Our next trip we planned on 5 nights and stayed 6. While we were there we purchased 165 HH points which is exactly enough for 5 nights in a 2br in summer. We have booked 5 nights for this July, but I called my guide and added on 66 points which is enough to add a Friday night in summer. Hilton Head is truly a place we can't get enough of! I wonder how many HH points I'll own by 2042!

If you drive from NJ to WDW, then a HH stay would be perfect for you.

Being retired, we always drive to WDW and even though HH is slightly out of the way for us, we thoroughly enjoy making that one of the stops either going down or coming back whenever we can.

We ususlly make it anywhere from 2 - 5 days, depending mostly on what we have planned for WDW.

Also, making the combination HH, VB, WDW trip is great.

We have been for weekends and up to 6 days. Due to the high weekend point cost though we usually stay 5 nights! Arriving EARLY Sun and leave after lunch on Friday!

We went down to HH this past February and spent 4 nights there. We were down on one of the packages designed to entice you to buy and I imagined that I would go down, say "no" very politely, and be on my way. It obviously didn't work that way for us as were very impressed and recently closed with HH as our home resort. We will be staying there for 6 nights the first week of September. We tried to get in earlier, but to no avail. We think we have enough points to suit us, but that may change. Good luck with your decison!

We did 6 nights 2 weeks ago and left wanting more and that was our third trip. There is a lot to do on the island and the resort.

We went for a week last November and loved it. This year we plan to go for the last week of October. We're not golfers, but enjoyed the nature walks, side trip to Savanah, beach, and the relaxation. Since we drive from Michigan, it's not worth the travel time investment unless we stay a week.
