How long do you normally go to WDW for

Hi all just wondering as I am trying to work out how many days we will need. How long do you normally go to WDW for and also do you do anything other than Disney stuff like Seaworld or Universal. Thanks

Well, we just took our children (4 and 7) for the first time. We went Sat - Sat, never left Disney World, had 8-day passes, used every one of them, and didn't even make it over to AK!

There is so much to do in WDW!

This year we will be in florida from Dec 9-29th, we do not restrict ourselves to wdw we experience all of florida

Long ago when there was only one park, our stays were of the 4-5 night variety and as the years past passed and EPCOT was added we added more days too. Recently our stays are in the 8-12 night stays. We like to now enjoy the resort and other ammenities in Disney and still do not get it all done but we're more relaxed and not rushed. As for leaving Disney property, no we do not leave the grounds. There is nothing out there of interest to us. Universal and Sea World do not, to us at least, say Florida. We've got alot of money tied up in our Disney trip and prefer to get all our magic from there.

We usually go the WDW for 7 to 10 nights and only do Disney during this time.

I've settled on 7-10 days as my favorite length- anything shorter is much too short, but anything longer and we're too worn out to enjoy it.

I've done Universal and Sea World a few times- to me they're worth visiting once every few years, but most trips I skip them. Too much to do at WDW!

We like to stay for 9-12 days. When we go to WDW we just do the Disney thing. Having gone a few times we feel we can take a slow pace and really enjoy the parks and spend some time at the BCV. If we want a florida vacation we go to the beach elsewhere and spend a week. Love that too.

We normally stay 7 nights, 8 days. Yes we do Sea World and Universal. What we do is one year we will go to Sea World and the next time we go we will go to Universal. We have even gone to Busch Gardens, in Tampa too.

We've gone anywhere from 3 nights to 8 nights (most trips have been 7 nights, but we're trying to keep it to 8 nights from now on). No we don't do anything outside of Disney, basically because on vacation (other than some ADRs) we don't like ot have plans, and we don't have a car (which is fine because we enjoy just getting on the busses). We're very go with the flow, and I feel like, if we did universal-- then I'd have to have a plan for the week and schedule transportation. When my boys get a little older, we're going to do Universal, but I think we'll actually switch resorts at the end of the trip and stay at Universal. Anyway, I'm waiting for the kids to get older since I hear there's alot of thrill rides. I did Sea World as a kid and hated it, so I don't plan on doing that again.

We have gone between 7-9 nights. The longer the better for us, but with DH's job he doesnt have that much vacation to take it all in one trip. Maybe one day we can stay 2 weeks. We usually stay on site and every other trip or so we will try to get to Sea World.

we usually go for 8-10 days. this is perfect for us becuase we usually travel in july. this way we can aviod the pressures to go commando style in the intense florida heat and take a more realxing tour of the parks. much easier on us knowing that if the lines for soarin are too long we will be back and try again.

We usually stay a week but I don't feel it's enough time for me. I'd like to do at least 10 days if not 14. That would require some serious saving for us but my mental health is worth it.

We go for 8 nights usually and last trip we also went to Sea World for the day. We don't go to Universal, at least not yet because my kids are little and I love Disney!

DW and I are going fro 12 nights this year Dec 17-29. We will be going to the parks for only five days and will skip AK except to go over on Dec 24 during EMH to ride Everest. The rest of the time will be spent golfing (for me at least - give DW some P&Q ), shopping and we haven't decided what else yet.

Usually we go for 5-6 days, but this year we are going for 8 . We are going Dec 23-Dec31. I usually only do WDW. I did Busch Gardens and Universal once, a while ago.

I find myself doing about 7 days in the Spring (late May) and about 11 days in late Nov/early Dec. Shortest trip was 4 days, longest, 13.

We usually like to take a week to go to WDW. Sometimes that week will include a day at Universal, and a down day.

The past couple of trips have on only been about 5 days (with no down day or other parks). I prefer the entire week!

If we take our kids, we'll do 7 days. If it's just my DW and I, we'll just do an extended weekend (Fri-Mon). DW and I know exactly what we want to do when we're there so we've been able to squeeze in everything in a short amount of time. If we're there for the week, we'll usually try to designate at least one day to do something else. In 2005, we went to Kennedy Space Center. Last June, we went to Fort De Soto Park (North Beach, I believe) over by Saint Petersburg, FL.
