It really wasnt that good, just a bunch of folks saying the same thing over and over again, just in a different order everytime and it didnt go anywhere lol.

No the thread in question didn't change anyone's opinion. But does any debate really change opinions? What I mostly get out of such threads is a better understanding of what other people base their opinion on. I might or might not agree with them. But I can learn from it all.
