How long do the shows and dinner last?

Hi,
We are going on our first cruise in April with DD(6). We are scheduled for late seating and are trying to see if we want to try for early. My question for the vetrans are how long on the shows and dinner for both the early and late.

show starts at 6:30, ends at ?
Dinner starts at 6:30 ends at?

Show starts at 8:30 ends at
dinner starts at 8:30 end at.

I don't even know if my times are correct.
How early do you arrive to the shows for decent seating?

The shows generally run about an hour or so and dinner is usually about an hour to an hour and a half .... the early dinner/show is at 6:00pm and the later is at 8:30pm ..... we usually get to the show about 20 - 30 minutes to get a good seat ....... this is based on our experience, I'm sure others will jump in with theirs .... Andy

I'll second that the WDT shows run about an hour and early dinner goes 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Late dinner for us always lasted about 1:45 sometimes 2 hours. We had great tablemates and visited a lot.

If you have early dinner (late show) you probably want to be there 15-20 minutes early to get seats in the lower section, center. For those with late dinner (early show) 5-7 minutes is fine to get a good seat.

Although the early dinner is at 6:00 p.m., the early show is at 6:30 p.m.

FYI the early dinner on our 2/7 Eastern started at 6:00 not 6:30. We've always had late seating so I don't know if that is a change or not.

Dinner starts at 6:30 ends at - about 8ish

Show starts at 8:30 ends at- about 9:30
dinner starts at 8:30 end at- about 10ish depending on how long you linger... they don't have to get you out as fast, so you can doddle afterwards if you want.

FYI- we did the late seating and went to the early shows in our dinner wear, and after the show just went up to the Cadillac Lounge for a drink (18+) which was really nice

Early DINNER is at 6, early show is at 6:30. SHow lasts about 1 hour, dinner 1 1/2 hours. Family variety shows start at 7:45, last till about 8:25

Note early dinner and show have different start times.

I'm glad the shows are only about an hour long. When DH and I cruised on Royal Caribbean last summer we had the late dinner seating which we enjoyed, but that meant that the shows were before dinner, and they always ended close to our late dinner time. I didn't care for this much because that meant we had to be showered and dressed for dinner BEFORE the early show. At least on Disney, it looks like we'll have some time to get ready for dinner in between the show and dinner.
