How long did you wait to be seated at Ohana?

We have eaten here once before and enjoyed it. I like that DS had options besides chicken nuggets and pizza. I am somewhat regretting that I did not include Ohana on our dining list this year, and was thinking of (trying) to add it. But, some of the recent reviews have indicated waits of 30 min past ADR time. It seems like we waited at least 20 last time.

So, anybody not have to wait so long? Maybe earlier is better than later?

Last time we ate there was in late 2006, and we were seated immediately after checking in. I think our ADR was 5:00 or 5:30, and we checked in 5-10 minutes early. Earlier is probably better, at least based on that experience.

My family has never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes the past two times we went! We love it there. :goodvibes

about 10 or so minutes. We waited for nearly 1/2 hr once and they admitted they made a mistake and gave us good seats to watch Wishes

this past Sept we had a 5:10 adr for Ohana. We got there a little bit earlier than the adr time. I don't think we waited for more than 10-15 minutes & I don't think it was beyond the adr time - if it was, it wasn't by very much.

We just ate there on Monday, 6/2/08.
We checked in, and did one complete lap around the 2nd floor Poly lobby.
As we approached Ohana's, our buzzer buzzed.

I think it was my most favorite ADR of the trip. you will LOVE it! :cool1:

Hmm, two times ate there. One 35 minutes after arriving 20 minutes early. So 55 minutes total wait. Then, another time an hour, and 15 minutes. Arrived 10 minutes prior. However there was a big wedding party that arrived. 20 minutes before we got seated who took up one half of the restaurant.

However, both times were when free dining was on. So, most restaurant's are pretty much full.

We showed up an hour before our ADR just chancing that we could get in early but we couldnt so we had drinks at the Tambu Lounge...we were seated 45 minutes past our ADR time but the food was sooo worth it!

We ate there 3 times in 2007 (1 dinner & 2 breakfasts.....including Christmas morning :santa: )....never waited more than 10 minutes.

We waited about a half an hour into our ADR but the meal was well worth it. As an added bonus we got to see Wishes because we were still finishing dessert when it started.

10 minutes for dinner. We got our buzzer then went to the bar. The buzzer went off before we got our drinks for a party of 6.

March 08 trip: We arrived 10 min prior and waited an add'l 35 minutes. We looked around in the gift shop because there was no seating in the lounge. We didn't leave the restaurant till nearly 7:30 (5:30 ADR). Thus missing our planned evening entertainment, Fantasmic. No complaints about the food and we would certainly go back to O'hana, but will have an alternate plan for the evening.

We usually wait around 15-20 mins. We pass the time with a couple of lapu lapu drinks.

Has been with waits around 20 minutes average .:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes Danny
