My DME experience...arrived in MCO (from Boston, flying Song) at 11:50..about 10 minutes late due to weather. We were on the bus at 12:15. We left MCO at about 12:30, arrived at CBR around 1ish. Then off to YC, then us at BC. We were checking in at BC around 1:10 and sitting by the pool at 1:20. I knew people would want to know, so I kept track of the time.

I did have a little problem finding the DME check-in desk though. I overshot it by a bit and tried to get on the bus...all the time wondering why this was so easy  !!! The bus driver told me I had to go back to the check-in desk, told me where it was...that added about 5 minutes or so to my overall time. Plenty of people helping us to check-in and then directing us back to the bus lines, which we didn't wait in for very long at all...maybe 3 minutes.

I will be using DME again in the fall and again in Oct '06!!! We loved it.

Great post! I am trying to figure out around what time I will arrive at my resort. It sounds like ME is very efficient.

Great poll!

The only thing I don't like about this poll that I doesn't ask people to account for the time that they spent at MCO by their own choice after stepping off the aircraft -- especially guests who chose to go to baggage claim to wait for their own bags, instead of using DME as designed. Also, it seems unfair to burden the time measurement with time spent for meals in the airport, restroom time, diaper change time, theme park ticket purchases in the airport, and other time spent in the airport beyond the control of the DME.

If anyone wants to try this poll again in the future, a more meaningful timeframe would be the time from arriving at the Disney Welcome Center at MCO until stepping of the motor coach at the resort.
