How long before your trip do the travel documents come?

I paid in full on July 13th for two rooms at POP beginning August 28th.

Nothing yet. Should I be worried? (We are not using Magical Express.)

I recieved my luggage tags with POR on them and my tickets for the magic express, but no vouchers for golf or planet hollywood. Do they come separate or am I missing them? Thanks Chris

I recieved my Magic Express info with bag tags on July 25 and we leave Sept. 2. Is this all we will recieve? Does anyone know? Thanks Chris

if you booked a package, you should get additional materials from DTC which include keepsake luggage tags and vouchers. they'll come about a week after the DME package does. if you booked a room only, you're done.

I have room only booked for Aug 25th and then my package booked from Aug 26 to Sep 03. I received my ME package with ME vouchers for the return trip and luggage tags. Should I still be receiving a ME package for my arrival on Aug 25th? I still have not received any packages with travel vouchers. I saw on a previous post that I would receive a confirmation letter for my one night. Will this document be separate from my package documents?

all 3 of those should be separate. if you got DME tags with the return vouchers, I'd just contact DME directly and have your room only reservation # in hand and just clear it with them. you probably won't need to receive anything else and you're probably fine with what you have. the DME welcome desk will clear up any issues.

as to whether you'll receive a confirmation letter for your room only, you may or may not. Disney is switching over to a system that uses email delivery only which is right now limited to room only reservations if they have an email address on file for you. So if you ever got an email with a link to your reservation, then no, you won't be getting any paper.

not by my clock. package materials (assuming you booked a package) are sent out about 5 weeks prior to check-in. when you pay it off has no bearing on this.

DME and package materials are completely separate. the package materials should come roughly a week after DME does, or maybe around 28-30 days before check-in.

I booked a spur of the moment trip last Friday 7/20 thru Dreams Unlimited for 8/22-8/27. My ME tags came directly to me on 7/26. Still awaiting vouchers, etc.. They will go to my TA. Do you guys have any thoughts as to when they will receive the documents?

I have room only for Aug 24 & 25 at ASMU. I then switch to SSR for Aug 26 -Sept 3. I did receive two seperate letters for my ME. The first one came for ASMU for just the trip down. The second one arrived a week later for SSR for the return home. You may want to call ME directly and check on this.

I am still waiting for the room only confirmation and my other package documents.

I booked through disney travel and called today to verify if they got my final payment last week. Verified and they said I would receive all documents in 2 weeks. trip not until october.

when i give these timeframes it's really just from observing dozens (and then some) posts of people reporting when they get their documents. i've watched DME from when it first started and was botching nearly every reservation and having to fedex documents out 2 days beforehand to progressively allowing more and more time. they are very consistent

She said about 10-14 days before our trip. We're leaving 8/26 Trip was paid in full around 7/3. So does this sound odd to any of you experts?

Does anyone know if we can use the vouchers from the package before our arrival date? We have a room only booked before free dining starts. Our package starts on 8/26 but we arrive on 8/20, not sure if I can get the discounts on minature golf and sea racers during the first part of our trip. I am sure if I try to use the vouchers it will be fine. It is not that they have expired.

Thanks for this post! I asked this same question and it never really got answered. I haven't gotten anything and was getting concerned. We arrive on Aug. 26th too and I see many of you already have your info. I will be contacting the TA to see what is up. I'd have been sitting here like a dork the week prior wondering what to do!

I paid mine off back in May, it has nothing to do with when you pay it off. The Cm told me that they would mail them out at the 45 day mark, so if you are within the 45 day maek, then of course you would recieve them shortly after paying it off.

everything goes to your TA unless you booked through Disney directly.

that means I suspect your TA has everything by now, or should. if your TA said 2 weeks before your trip, I wouldn't sweat it when you're still almost a month out. it's your TA's responsibility to get everything to you.

now why your TA would hold on to it for weeks? I don't know. I do know AAA has a track record of keeping everything until about 2-3 weeks prior to check-in.

Thanks for the reassurance. I figured the TA must have them and why she isn't sending them to me sooner... who knows? (It's not AAA). But I know there's plenty of time so I won't worry about it yet. Just reading all the posts about everyone getting them a month or more in advance had me a bit nervous. But I won't worry (for now)

Rec'd ME docs sometime last week, (in WI)....and our travel docs came today...we arrive 8/31.
