How long before you received your BEO?

Hi ladies,

I just wanted to get an idea of how did you have to wait for your beo to come in? My PS was almost 2 weeks ago so I'm hoping it will be here soon?

Also how many times did you revise it?

Ours took over 4 weeks! We actually got our floral budget before the whole BEO came in! Our PS was 1/22, floral came 2/19 and everything else 2/25!

The waiting was hard!

Oh no - I'm already getting anxious and it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet. I think if I don't get something by week 3 I'll have to send some emails.

At about 3 weeks I did send emails-not sure if it helped though!
We are now waiting on some floral changes- third ones and a transportation change and its been 2 weeks and I emailed everyone again yesterday- nothing yet

Thanks Catherine! We actually are most anxious for the answer to a transportation question! After seeing Lurkyloos friendship boat departure we thought it might be neat to arrive via the boat--now we wait--can it happen

The BEO is an outline of your entire day and how much everything will cost. It's actually two separate documents - the BEO, which has all the details of the schedule and every single thing that happens on your wedding day, and a price sheet that totals up all the costs.

A third document is the Floral Proposal, which has prices for flowers and all decor, like linens, chair covers, sand ceremony, etc. The prices from the floral proposal don't get added in to your BEO til the very end.

My planning session was 4 weeks ago today and nothing so far . I just sent an e-mail out to my planner so I hope to hear something soon.
I did get my floral part 2 weeks after I spoke with Laura Kidd so I was very happy with that. I agree that waiting is soooo hard.

I waited 6 weeks in the end. It has been two weeks since my floral appointment and I'm still waiting for that one.

It looks like most of you waited at least a month before getting anything I'll probably email my planner at the end of the week to see what the status is. Thanks ladies!

I think i must be lucky as my planner Diane is amazing!!
We had our planning session in the morning and by the time we met her for food tasting she had the rough figures for us!!
We had our BEO within a couple of days and she always makes any amedments with 24hrs for us.
However it took over 3 weeks to get our floral one from Rose which i did have to chase. Not sure why as we are only having petals and chair covers from her!!!
