How long are holiday decorations up on the Dream?

We just booked a 3 night cruise leaving December 28th and returning December 31st--plugging away to that Platinum status. We love the Dream, have many of our routines set and really did enjoy the Merrytime Cruise last year. Just wondering if the tree in the lobby and the gingerbread house would still be up the week between Christmas and New Year's. Thanks in advance for your reply!

Typically the decorations come down at the end of the cruise that goes over New Year's Eve.

We set sail on January 6th one year and the decorations had come down over the previous cruise and were just being taken off of the ship. Man there were a LOT of decorations!! Hope this helps!

They take the decorations down at the end of the New Year's cruise. I know because I witnessed this once at the end of a New Year's cruise. It was loud (destruction of the gingerbread house) & not pleasant to see. Leave promptly on disembarkation morning to avoid the sight.

LOL. We did a New Year's cruise and same deal. Two burly men with sledge hammers breaking up the Gingerbread house. We couldn't leave promptly though, we were in line for 45 minutes TRYING to get off the ship.
